Engine front support A-6030 is now specified for use on the 157″ chassis. (It is the same support that is used on the Model A and 131 1⁄2″ chassis.)

The adoption of the front end support on the 157” chassis obsoletes the old design AA5017 front cross member. If calls are received for this part, after present stocks are exhausted, supply the AA-5019 front cross member and an A-6030 engine front support. Assembly, nuts, springs, etc., shown in Fig. 1081.

The engine front support A-6030 can be installed on a chassis equipped with an old style AA-5017 cross member by sawing 1 7⁄8” off the flange of the cross member (see Fig. 1081) and installing it in accordance with instructions contained in the November 1928 Service Bulletin.
