GROUND SIDE OF BRAKE LINING MUST COME NEXT TO DRUM

When riveting “A” or “AA” brake shoe linings to brake shoes it is very important that the side of the lining which carries the trade mark be placed next to the shoe so as to insure the ground side of the lining being next to the drum.

All linings should be ground after assembling to shoe so as to secure a uniform braking surface.
