A new design truck frame for the Model AA-157″ chassis has been released for production. The part number of this frame is AA-5008.

The new frame is the same as the previous design to a point just back of the cab; from there back the side members on the new frame run parallel to each other instead of at an angle. Fig. 1088 shows the old and new design frames.

Following are the new numbers and parts for use with the AA-5008 frame assembly straight sides:

Note-With straight side frames the AA- 5792-C and AA-5793-C spring seats must be assembled with the thick flange or locking bolt side of the spring pin boss toward the wheel. (See Fig. 1089.) This is just the reverse of the practice used with the tapered frames.
