A change has been made in the location of the door lock striker plate in coupes, roadsters and cabriolets . equipped with rumble seats. This change made it necessary, of course, to alter the position of the deck door lock to correspond with the new location of the striker plate.

It will accordingly be necessary, when install- ing a new deck door on a 1928-29 coupe, cabriolet or roadster ,equipped with rumble seat, to relocate the striker plate directly to the rear of the former location as shown in Fig. 823.
