Being exposed to the weather, the ground connections on the electric windshield wiper should be thoroughly cleaned. The com- mutator wiped with a cloth or fine sandpaper. Oil on the commutator, rust on the windshield frame at point of ground contact and poor connections cause most windshield wiper trouble.

All electrical connections on the car should be carefully gone over. Poor connections often cause trouble on the road and are difficult to locate.
